Content
Each module combines short videos, research-backed readings, and classroom examples drawn from your own subject area.
Personalisation
You tell us your subject once. The core content is the same for everyone; in every module, examples, applications and AI feedback are adapted to your own teaching area. A maths teacher and a history teacher see different examples and applications.
Reflection
After each module you share a short reflection — in writing or by voice, whichever feels natural. The platform gives you personalised, subject-specific feedback and shows how your thinking is developing over time.
Community
Discuss, question, and share with other educators navigating the same challenges. The community forum connects you with peers across all subjects and is overseen by the researcher.
Practice
Hands-on activities and knowledge checks in every module, plus optional practice workshops where you share and compare approaches with other teachers in the community.
AI sandbox
A dedicated space where you try writing prompts for real teaching scenarios drawn from your field. You get immediate feedback on what worked and why — hands-on practice, not theory.
Your journey
After all fifteen modules, the platform shows you a synthesis of your entire 75-hour journey — how your thinking evolved, the professional tensions you worked through, and the themes that shifted in your writing.
Completion
Complete all fifteen modules and receive a Certificate of Attendance, a record that you completed the programme. It carries no official recognition.
What makes PROODOS different
Adapted to your subject
Many AI courses treat every teacher the same. In PROODOS the core content is shared by all teachers, and in every module parts of it are adapted to your subject: examples, applications and feedback. A maths teacher and a PE teacher see different examples and applications.
Reflective practice
After each module you reflect in writing. Over time the platform shows you how your ideas about AI in teaching have shifted — themes that grew stronger, tensions that emerged, your professional trajectory at a glance.
Peer insights
Your reflections, without your name, are compared with those of peers across different subjects. You see shared concerns, emerging patterns, and perspectives you would never have encountered in a single-discipline course.
Transparent AI
Every AI-generated output comes with a plain-language explanation of how it was produced. The platform supports your thinking; it never decides for you, and you always see why.

PROODOS is a doctoral research instrument at the International Hellenic University, grounded in the UNESCO AI Competency Framework. Each module lists the key studies behind its content.

AI in education changes faster than almost any other subject in professional development. Each module’s content is systematically monitored against developments in research, tools, and regulation, and updated through a structured human curation process — the system detects, the person decides.

A 36-question self-assessment of your current AI literacy. This is your personal starting point, not a test.
Work through the programme whenever it suits you. Each module is self-contained: video, content, activity, quiz, and a guided reflection. Around 75 hours in total.
After Module 15, look back over the whole journey — your themes, how your thinking changed, and the professional tensions you worked through.
Download your Certificate of Attendance, a record that you completed the programme.
