What you get

Everything you need, nothing you don’t

Video, readings & real examples

Each module combines short videos, research-backed readings, and classroom examples drawn from your own subject area.

Built around your subject

You tell us your subject once. Examples, activities, and AI feedback are drawn from your own teaching area — a maths teacher and a history teacher experience a genuinely different programme.

Reflect after each module — type or speak

After each module you share a short reflection — in writing or by voice, whichever feels natural. The platform gives you personalised, subject-specific feedback and shows how your thinking is developing over time.

A live forum of teachers like you

Discuss, question, and share with other educators navigating the same challenges. A moderated community forum connects you with peers across all subjects.

Activities, quizzes & workshops

Hands-on activities and knowledge checks in every module, plus optional practice workshops where you share and compare approaches with other teachers in the community.

Practice writing AI prompts — in your own subject

A dedicated space where you try writing prompts for real teaching scenarios drawn from your subject area. You get immediate feedback on what worked and why — hands-on practice, not theory.

See your whole journey at the end

After all fifteen modules, the platform shows you a synthesis of your entire 75-hour journey — how your thinking evolved, the professional tensions you worked through, and the themes that shifted in your writing. No other programme does this.

A certificate at the end

Complete all fifteen modules and receive a Certificate of Attendance — verifiable proof of 75 hours of structured AI professional development.

What makes PROODOS different

You won’t find this anywhere else

Truly personalised

Your subject. Your classroom. Your students.

Most AI courses treat every teacher the same. PROODOS uses your subject to shape examples, feedback, and applications throughout the programme. A maths teacher and a PE teacher experience genuinely different content.

Reflective practice

See how your thinking evolves across the programme

After each module you reflect in writing. Over time the platform shows you how your ideas about AI in teaching have shifted — themes that grew stronger, tensions that emerged, your professional trajectory at a glance.

Peer insights

Discover what colleagues in other subjects are thinking

Your anonymised reflections are compared with peers across different subjects. You see shared concerns, emerging patterns, and perspectives you would never have encountered in a single-discipline course.

Transparent AI

Every AI feature explains itself — no black boxes

In line with the EU AI Act, every AI-generated output comes with a plain-language explanation of how it was produced. The platform supports your thinking; it never decides for you, and you always see why.

Research-grounded

Built on a verified bibliography, not marketing claims

PROODOS is a doctoral research instrument at the International Hellenic University, grounded in the UNESCO AI Competency Framework. Every design decision is supported by peer-reviewed literature — and the references are available.

Built to stay current

Designed not to age

AI in education changes faster than almost any other subject in professional development. Each module’s content is systematically monitored against developments in research, tools, and regulation, and updated through a structured human curation process — the system detects, the person decides.

Your journey

From registration to certificate

Register

Create your account and tell us a few things about yourself and your teaching.

02

AI disclosure & consent

Read, in plain language, how every AI feature works and how your anonymised data supports the research. You decide what you’re comfortable with.

03

Baseline self-assessment

A 36-question self-assessment of your current AI literacy. This is your personal starting point, not a test.

04

Fifteen modules, your pace

Work through the programme whenever it suits you. Each module is self-contained: video, content, activity, quiz, and a guided reflection. Around 75 hours in total.

05

Your reflective synthesis

After Module 15, look back over the whole journey — your themes, how your thinking changed, and the professional tensions you worked through.

06

Certificate of Attendance

What happens with my data and consent?
Before you begin, you complete an AI disclosure and research-consent step. It explains, in plain language, how each AI feature works, what data is collected, and how your anonymised reflective work contributes to the doctoral study at the International Hellenic University. Participation in the research is voluntary — you can use the platform without contributing to the study. Your writing remains yours.

Structure

The UNESCO AI Competency Framework
